  • Board level experience in mid-market sized business
  • Either a qualified accountant or expertise in another field but with a good understanding of finance
  • Experience of dealing with businesses in distress and operating in the zone of insolvency
  • Demonstrable skills in planning and negotiating consensual solutions to problems rather than relying on legal process
  • Experience of business improvement, acquisitions and disposals
  • A broad range of skills, an open mind, decisiveness and a calm, measured approach to dealing with stressful situations
