Elena began her career in Russia as an accountant and auditor before moving to USA where she qualified as a CPA. She was CFO and Corporate Controller of Trinity Automotive Group, the first Automotive holding company in former Soviet Union states with an investment portfolio of ten companies in manufacturing suppliers to large automotive manufacturers and tier one suppliers including TRW, Delphi and Russian OEM’s. She joined as co founder, Strategic Initiatives, a boutique advisory M&A firm in France, Russia and UAE as CFO supporting M&A transactions and as advisor in portfolio financial management.
She then co-founded SI Capital Partners, an independent Private Equity boutique with $400 million in a diverse portfolio of SME’s in Europe Africa and Middle East. She was CFO with responsibility for treasury, tax planning and corporate structuring. Key investments were Delta Auto in Finland a multi franchise auto dealership, and Mercury Technology in Russia, a John Deere dealership.
Her more recent responsibilities involved management assessment and value creation programmes. As SI-Cap began a divestment and rundown of its holdings she associated her activities into turnaround and special situations of value creation with BM&T European Restructuring Solutions with a regional focus on Central and Northern Europe, Russia and former Soviet Union states.
