John has more than 15 years’ experience in restructuring and turnaround with Glass and Associates and Huron Consulting Group. John has held CFO and CEO and CRO positions working in companies in Italy, Germany, Spain, Benelux, Scandinavia as well as the UK. His sector expertise includes: automotive and industrial, chemical, telecoms, biotech, materials handling, logistics and printing. John has a successful track record delivering profit improvement, cash flow improvement and financial solutions including turnarounds, mergers, acquisitions and divestments. He has extensive experience in European cross-border distressed situations, and the preservation of enterprise value of companies working near to the zone of insolvency.
Professional Experience
John is a qualified accountant, training with Rio Tinto Zinc and then with Thomson Holidays. John held CFO positions in logistics and manufacturing companies, and completed a private equity backed turnaround and MBI of a UK group of companies before joining Glass and Associates in 1998. John has worked with major clients including Bio-tek industries, Clark Material Handling, Dura Automotive, Collins and Aikman, Tally Genicom, Scandinavian Casting Centres and Printronix.
