Catalin has more than 15 years’ experience in finance, treasury and restructuring in international business with an emphasis on Eastern Europe. Sector experience is automotive supply, oil and gas and the business to business sector. He has worked in energy and energy efficiency industries in the Netherlands, Romania and Hungary. He has been CFO of a large European subsidiary of a US automotive Tier 1 supplier.
He has a focus on NPL portfolio workout and divestment in CEE countries and enterprise risk management and value generation in distressed and underperforming businesses. He is a graduate in finance from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, a Director of TMA Romania and is fluent in Romanian and English, business fluent in German.
