Giles Campbell

Giles Campbell is a Principal of Bryan Mansell & Tilley having previously held the position as Managing Director. He has over 13 years’ experience in international companies as interim CEO and COO with particular emphasis on operational improvement and financial performance and enhancement. He specialises in business transformation, turnarounds and restructuring through rapid introduction and implementation of best practice in key functional areas; particularly purchasing, information technology, human resources, sales and marketing and operations. He has a comprehensive experience of leading and coaching teams in times of crisis and change. He is also experienced in business plan development and negotiating refinancing agreements for companies in near distress situations.

Professional Experience

As CEO he has turned around performance in companies of $100 million + turnover across a wide range of industries including retail, wholesale, trading, telecoms, IT services and advertising. He has worked extensively in the Middle East with both local and internationally owned companies. He has also worked in an advisory role for UK owned and London based Private equity firms and banks on acquisitions and divestments in that region. Since relocating to Europe he has worked primarily in the service industry sector. He has most recently been engaged in instigating and leading a UK subsidiary of a US owned service company in distress through a UK Creditors Consensual Composition avoiding the stigma of formal insolvency, thus retaining key customer contracts permitting the return to profitability whilst retaining key staff and maximising returns for all stakeholders. In association with saving the UK business he advised the US parent on a revised business plan and in negotiating new credit lines and high wealth individual funding.
